About Detailero
What is Detailero and how does it work? +
Detailero connects car owners with detailers. You choose a suitable detailer by location, services offered and the information in their profile. Then you can contact them or send them a free, no-obligation inquiry.
What does the “Verified” label mean? +
The label is given only to detailers we've visited in person and where we've seen the quality of their work and their approach to detailing for ourselves. It can't be obtained just by signing up, and it can't be bought.
Who can write a review of a detailer? +
Only a real customer whose completed job the detailer has recorded in Detailero can write a review. Not just anyone can leave a rating.
Inquiries
Is sending an inquiry free and with no obligation? +
Yes. Sending an inquiry costs nothing and doesn't commit you to anything. A job is only agreed once you've made arrangements with the detailer you chose.
Who agrees on the price and date with me? +
Always the detailer you chose, directly. After you send an inquiry, they get back to you and together you agree on the scope of the service, the date and the price. Detailero isn't involved in these arrangements.
Account and vehicle
Can I use Detailero without signing up? +
You can browse the directory and detailer profiles without an account. An account is handy for inquiries, but it isn't required (you enter your name and phone number as part of the inquiry).
How does my vehicle's care history work? +
If a detailer records a completed service under the VIN, it appears in the vehicle's history. Once you add the car to your garage, you'll see who did which service on it and when.
